Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
It was another day that felt like it escaped me. I was productive, but I think I had my 2nd cup of coffee a little too late in the day. As a result I was very restless throughout the evening and felt like I should do more.
I really enjoyed this workout and am glad that I am doing this program. It has given me something to look forward to and I have noticed that I am pushing myself a little more each day while being mindful of my body and tending to my joints. I am still nursing a sore ankle, but it seems to be getting better.
Workout of the Day: Upper Body + Yoga
Upper Body Superset Workout:
It was honestly really nice to do a strictly strength training workout. Today we are right back to hiit, but this workout made me feel really powerful and strong. There were some moves that I would not have been able to do just a year ago.
15 Minute Ballet Cardio:
I took a break after my strength training workout then decided to do this ballet cardio video. It was a lot of fun. I felt a little silly in the beginning, but was quickly able to shake it off.
Confidence Boost Yoga:
This practice was a little like pulling teeth for me. I was still restless and it was challenging for me to stay focused and present. The video itself is wonderful and I recommend it. I am just talking about my own internal struggle. The hardest part for me was the balance poses. I could really feel it especially in the ankle that has been sore so I modified and did not push those poses too hard. I enjoyed this practice, but was happy to reach the end. I am glad that I did not give up like I wanted to.
