Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0 Week #48 & 49

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

Did you miss me?  This is one of those “now or never moments.”  As in, I better write this weekly post now and catch us up on the last two weeks of adventures or else it will never happen.  This was another 2 of those blurry weeks, but not a dazed kind of blurry, but more of a “tears of joy” kind of blurry.

The last time we chatted I was going through the full circle of emotions and it feels good to be in a more lighthearted place.  I have been spending a lot of time reflecting on the last decade and I was able to reach a level of acceptance.  I also decided that I want to start living the life that I always dreamed of, but never thought was possible (because I was so busy struggling.) This has felt like a huge revelation and a big weight off of my chest.  It was as if I needed to give myself permission to really live my life as myself.

It may sound kind of odd to say this, but I spent a majority of my life into my twenties trying to live up to the expectations of others (parents, family, society, etc.) I started planning for my life when I was 4 and I calculated that I would be done with college by the time I was 21 and from there I would have kids at a young age.  It just goes to show that things change.  My life has been full of lots of twists and turns and I am enjoying the ride!

As you can see, I have been busy writing and it feels good.  I love that this blog helps to keep me accountable with my workouts, goals and dreams.  You guys are the BEST and I feel blessed to be here with YOU.  ❤

DECEMBER: CLEANLINESS

  • Plan ahead and prepare.
  • Set Goals.
  • Dream BIG.
  • Sleep at night.
  • Get an early start.
  • Let go of everything that doesn’t bring you Joy.
  • Photography.

I have been so busy working hard.  This list of goals is very planning focused and lately I have been action-focused.  I have no complaints about it and it feels so good to challenge myself.  My sleep schedule has been turned upside down because I have been working deep into the night and early morning then sleeping through the afternoon.  I am going to not let it stress me too much.

Our new tires finally arrived and we got them installed.  This helped us to get out of the house.  Did you know that “Sears International” still exists here in Hawaii?  I know that they went out of business on the mainland so it was a nice surprise especially since they offered us such a great deal on a new set of tires.

 

We have also been going for more walks and I can feel a huge difference in my mood.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that we happened to be up in the morning one day and got to get breakfast at Pele’s Kitchen.  If you are on the big island you definitely need to stop here for breakfast or Sunday Brunch!

 

What are some other developments in my life?  Well, I have decided to hit my tutorials hard!  I am learning about digital marketing and advertising.  I am also going to take a coding bootcamp to polish my skills.  Wish me luck!
