Workout and Word of the Day #131

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

Life is good.  I am getting ready to do a coding boot camp which means I will be more sedentary.  My workouts and walks are going to be essential to helping me remain sane.  I am thankful that I can workout at any hour in the comfort of my home and I don’t have to worry about being too loud.  For years we rented out rooms in our house and I had to be mindful of the noise I was making so that I would not disrupt the tenants.  I still have tenants, but now one of them lives in my house in a different state and the tenants near me live on the other house on the property.  It is a game-changer to have tenants who have their own space.  Don’t get me wrong, there was never a dull-moment when I shared space with tenants, but again it is nice to have my own space.

Today’s workout is: Brutal Hiit Cardio

I agree, this workout was brutal, but it was also a lot of fun.  I currently do not have a kettlebell (want to get one sooner than later) so I improvised with a dumbbell and it worked well.

Later in the day I turned up some music and did an improv yoga flow with my cat, Alleyjandra.  It was a nice change of pace.

Word of the Day:

brodingnagian– adjective

  1. Of huge size, gigantic, tremendous.

Last night, I was so close to getting a cello.  I found one online, had the cash on hand and was ready to drive across the island.  Sadly, the seller ghosted me.  I guess it wasn’t meant to be and that is okay.  I don’t even know how to play the cello, but I thought it would be fun to learn.  I have played the piano, violin, classical guitar, and I used to sing.  Do you play any instruments or sing?  Comment below to share!

❤ Alana
