Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
What is new and exciting in your world? I am excited about the fact that I have been consistent with my workouts. This is week #7/8 of my 8 week program! My motivation levels have been across the board throughout these 8 weeks varying from super motivated and inspired to as unmotivated and wanting to give up. Although honestly, I have spent so much time feeling discouraged and giving up in the past that I think I got that out of my system. Not wanting to give up has inspired me to keep going despite the feelings.
I am proud of myself for sticking with my program and showing up even on the days when I wanted to give up. And I am thankful that the pull to give up has been weaker than ever. I am learning that motivation is cumulative. The more you show up, the better you feel and I have been feeling better than I have felt in a long time. It is also nice that my partner has been complimenting me a lot about the way I look in my outfits. My partner is not one to sugar coat or give out compliments easily.
Today’s Workout is: Abs Workout and Bodyweight Cardio
I started my day with 20 minutes of fasted cardio on my new airdyne bike. I am probably going to have to write an entire post about how I acquired this bike because it has been the highlight of my week!
I want to start practicing yoga again. I have not done a yoga video in a while. Luckily, I still make time to flow on my mat, but I know that I would feel even better if I spent more time to slow down. My energy has been a little frantic lately and I think implementing a meditation and yoga practice would help.
Word of the Day:
