Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
The new year is here and it is time for me to continue my tradition of doing a year-long project! Through the years I have done a series of projects including:
- Happiness Project
- Transform Your Life Project
- Transform Your Life Project 2.0
- Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project: 2018
- 2019 Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0
These projects have helped me with goal setting and staying accountable throughout the year. I set goals and / or an area of focus for every month and each week I talk about my victories, challenges, and lessons I have learned.
There have been some years that I have been more successful than others and even a few years where I fell completely off track. There is something invigorating and empowering about getting back on track and trying again!
I am very pleased with the way my Latest and Greatest project went. It was the Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0 and my theme for 2019 was “Building Confidence.” I know that consistently working towards my goals and writing these weekly posts helped to keep me accountable. I actively worked towards building my confidence by standing up for myself and making my dreams come true. It was the year that I took over the business, bought property in Hawaii, and graduated with my Bachelor’s degree. I am now at a point where I am figuring out what happens next. This is an exciting time, but can also be overwhelming. I want to put my energy into moving forward and living the life I have always dreamed of.
My theme for 2020 is: “Living Out Loud”
This year I am going back to my roots and the origin of this blog. I named it “Living Out Loud with my head in the clouds and feet on the ground.” Back then I was barely surviving and was just trying to make it from day to day. It was hard to live out loud because I had to keep my head down and grind. I have finally reached a point where I can focus on thriving and coming into my own. I want to live that life that I used to only dream of.
Please feel free to follow along and also document your adventures throughout the year. Please add and subtract to customize this project to fit your life. I would love to cheer you on too!
