Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
This workout almost didn’t happen today. I was super close to just calling it a rest day and shifting this workout to tomorrow, but I decided to stick with my initial plan. My day started on a high note like a nice full balloon, but the air started leaking out slowly throughout the day. By early evening I already felt tired, flat, and depleted and the 2nd cup of coffee didn’t do a thing.
Luckily, before that I was able to mow our entire property with my push mower. I was clipping along and got done within a half hour (usually it takes me 45 minutes to an hour.) I decided to apply lots of sunscreen and get some sunlight while I mowed the lawn. I usually cover myself with long sleeves and long pants and tune the world out with my headphones, but I decided to do things differently today. It was nice to be more observant and enjoy the sounds of nature. This might be part of what took my energy, but I am glad that I spent that time outside.
I did my workout today even though I didn’t feel like doing it and it was the best thing I could have done. I have felt energized ever since and am looking forward to doing my coding after writing this post!
Workout of the Day: 45 Minute Cardio Kickboxing
This workout was fun, challenging, and empowering. We did 6 rounds of cardio combined with strength training and he ended with a round of burpees. I didn’t even know that I had enough energy left, but I did.
Word of the Day:
concertina– noun
- A musical instrument resembling an accordion but having buttonlike keys, hexagonal bellows and ends, and a more limited range.

I am taking a biohacking course which is requiring me to study molecular biology. Additionally, I am in the midst of a coding bootcamp and am loving it.
Tomorrow is my rest day, but I might do some yoga or go for a walk in the rain. I am also hoping to acquire some art supplies. Have a fun weekend, my friends!

That’s a great workout, but I have to skip anything on the floor, or moving my right knee too much. Very well done.
Yay! So glad you got to it. I hope you’re not coming down with a cold, I just got over mine and the stuffiness was the worst! I couldn’t breathe and didn’t feel like doing anything.

Thanks Jessica! I agree stuffiness is the worst and I hope you will feel much better soon. It is either a cold or more likely allergies.
