Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
How was your day? Today was a decent day, but I felt more sad than I have in awhile without really knowing why. I think it might be because I haven’t been coding very much lately and it is on my list of things to do. I have been spending so much more time in the kitchen and I guess my priorities have shifted. Cooking has become my new favorite hobby.
I have to remind myself that it is okay to not do everything every day. The only pressure I have in my life is the pressure that I put on myself so I can avoid it by switching out the negative thoughts with positive ones. It sounds so simple, doesn’t it? But it is a lot more challenging than it sounds. I am learning that changing your mind is powerful and it is something that we can each choose to do, but it takes practice to do it well.
Today’s Workout is: Whole Body + Yoga
50 Minute Full Body Workout with Dumbbells:
This workout was full of some lovely compounds movements and exercises. They kept us moving the entire time with very little rest and lots of variety. Before I knew it, the workout was complete!
Feel Good Yoga Flow:
This flow felt really nice and stretched out my entire body. It was exactly what I needed.
Word of the day:
- Moved to or showing sudden, impatient irritation, especially over some trifling annoyance.
I have a confession to make… This evening we ordered Thai food delivery and I got the scallops saute with veggies (I have been craving scallops lately) and I also got a thai iced tea. I usually don’t because I the sugar, but tonight I did. Just being real, my friends! Hope you are enjoying this Friday night!
