Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
How is your week going? This has been a good week for me. I am on Day #10/21 of my bone broth experiment and so far I have had 3 planned and successful bone broth fast days. I have strictly stuck with the guidelines on my fasting days, but my non-fasting days could still use some improvement. The guidelines want me to be gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free. I have almost reached a point where it almost seems like the keto protocol that I followed last fall was easier than this because I could still have dairy and stevia.
My”lapses” have been little things like those pancakes my partner made for me last week or forgetting to ask for my coffee black and having some cream in it. Or last night my partner got us breakfast burritos for dinner last night. Granted, I waited 10 minutes trying to decide whether or not I wanted to eat it and I decided that eating the burrito would be better than going to bed hungry. It probably sounds like I am blaming my partner for my lapses, but I promise that I’m not. I have chosen these choices on my own. These are just little challenges we all face when making lifestyle changes and it can be challenging when you have more people in your household than just yourself.
I am pleased with the fact that my workouts have been consistent. We also found out that the service that has been delivering food to our house has stopped delivering to our neighborhood. While this is honestly disappointing, I know that it is for the best and it will give me a chance to plan ahead and prepare healthier meals. It is too easy to be lax when food is so convenient.
I have a long ago history of an eating disorder so I am not going to shame myself of hit the reset button. I am going to keep moving forward with these 21 days and observe how my choices affect the way that I feel. Once these 21 days are up I will decide if I want to keep following this path or make some changes. This isn’t just a fling I am in it for the long haul.
Workout of the Day: 45 Minute Total Body Workout + Essentrics Intro + Yoga
I think this is the 1st repeat workout I have done in these last 30 days and it is a great one full of compound movements.
Intro to Essentrics:
I am reading a book called “Aging Backwards” and it is written by the lady who created essentrics. I decided to look up a youtube video to give it a try. I really enjoyed how graceful, fun and challenging this format is. My whole body was burning throughout this short video. I will have to do more of these videos.
Yoga With Adriene ❤
I am so glad that I have started practicing yoga once again.

Thanks for joining me for another workout and word of the day! I will see you again soon!
