Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I have been feeling a little flat and “dead inside” these last few days (I felt it especially today because I did not have coffee until a lot later in the day. It is crazy how stimulants and lack of can affect our moods)…
After spending time reflecting and giving it a lot of thought, I think it is because I am getting through another transition. This is a good transition. My degree is finally completely complete and I have reached another “what happens next phase?”
The answer is: Whatever I want! A big part of me is sad that I am done with school for now. I think I could be a perpetual student if I wanted to be. Additionally, we have been working on fully automating our businesses. While this is super exciting and a HUGE milestone; it leaves me with a lot more free time. I feel guilty about not knowing what to do with my free time and the guilt is another energy drain.
There is so much that I want to do and could be doing, but I am exhausted from feeling overwhelmed by it all. Another factor is the fact that I am going through lots of mental and physical changes. I have been cleaning up my nutrition and learning about how to balance my hormones and that has been a big transition for me.
I also spent almost an entire week off of social media and this time around it didn’t really affect me. I just filled the time with looking at more properties to buy and places to go on vacation. I have noticed that I am spending less time on social media overall and have been more focused on staying present.
I think the answer is that lots of great things are happening in my life and it is going to take time for me to learn how to enjoy it. I am so used to struggling and feeling stressed and behind and now those weights have been lifted.
Today’s Workout of the day is: 40 Minute Dumbbell Hiit workout:
This was a fun and challenging workout. They really kept us moving nonstop and there were times when I could barely keep up, but I made it to the end! After my workout we decided to drive to town to get a drink, but then we ended up going to Target where I got a blender! I am going to start making green smoothies for breakfast to make sure that I get my greens. It has been a couple of years since I have made smoothies and I am looking forward to it. For me the key is going to be not adding too much fruit.
