Workout and Word of the Day #31

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

After today’s workout, I realized that it has been forever since the last time a workout really challenged me.  I have enjoyed the last 60 days because it gave me a chance to experiment with my nutrition in January and then take some time to recover in February.  There was a point where I noticed that I was coasting more than I was pushing myself.

To be fair, January was intense.  I experimented with the 21 day bone broth plan and I had 2 days per week where I only had coffee and up to 6 cups of bone broth.  My skin definitely glowed and I am glad that I did it, but I started feeling burnt out shortly afterwards.  Making bone broth from scratch takes a lot of preparation and the most challenging part of it for me was acquiring enough of the necessary bones.  After 21 days I was kind of over the whole make bone broth from scratch thing.  I do think it is a worthwhile endeavor to try.

I felt more of a need to spend more time recovering in the month of February and I am glad that I took the time to do so.  Now I feel ready to hit my workouts hard once again.

Workout of the Day: Yoga + Lower Body + Tabata

52 Minute Intense Fat Burning Cardio Intervals w/ lower body emphasis:

This is the hardest workout I have done in a long time and it felt amazing!  It made me realize that I am capable of pushing myself much harder than I have been.

EXTRA CREDIT |10 Minute Lower Body Tabata hiit:

It felt so good to do this extra credit workout!

Word of the Day:

trundle– verb

  1. To cause (a circular object) to roll along; roll.
  2. To convey or move in a wagon, cart, or other wheeled vehicle.

Thanks for joining me for another workout and word of the day.  I do not believe in giving up or quitting, but I do believe in trying new things and taking the time to figure out what works best.  If something feels like it is not working try something new!
