Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
My dearest blog friend / adopted Grandmother, Susie (from Susie’s Opinions visit her blog for amazing reviews and lots of inspiration) is right. I have been gone for too long!
This was another transitional week for me. We created a more ergonomic office space for me which means I have moved to another room. I also think that the gravity of this “lockdown” started weighing heavily on me.
Thankfully, I got a surge of energy and inspiration this past Wednesday when my friend Jenna shared this killer workout on her facebook. This is not a workout that I would just pull out of thin air and “do for fun.” I am so glad that she shared it with me because I saw it on a stressful morning and decided to braid my hair, have a 2nd cup of coffee, track down a good playlist and take this workout outside!
Workout of the Day: Outdoor Upside Down Pyramid Workout + Zoom Zumba!
I was able to get through this workout 2 times. I really enjoyed the fact that you don’t need any equipment at all just a strong will. I did bring my yoga mat with me but only needed it for the glute bridge raises.
It really was an empowering and refreshing workout and I am so glad that I did it!
A few hours later, my favorite Zumba instructor MeckMeck invited me to a Zoom Zumba class. I realized that I am actually very shy in person, but I am glad that I decided to join her and the old crew for an hour of zumba!
Word of the Day:
- A small group of secret plotters, as against a government or person in authority.
- The plots and schemes of such a group; intrigue.
So, I know that my headings and format is a little out of the ordinary this time around. I honestly feel a little too lazy to edit the code at the moment and I just want to get this post out there so please don’t judge me 🙂
Thank you for stopping by and joining me for another workout and word of the day! What have you been up to lately and how are you spending your time at home? Comment below to share!
Also, thank you Susie, for checking in with me!
P.S. I do have to say that I did this workout on Wednesday and I needed all of Thursday and Friday to recover from it. Today I feel ready to get active once again!
