I still fall into this mode sometimes, but I have learned how to shed the “all or nothing” mentality that used to paralyze me.
Making commitments then moving towards them with baby steps has helped a lot. I hold myself accountable, but I don’t shame myself if I miss a day.
Today I am so thankful for progress and growth. What are you thankful for today?

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
This morning I feel like I have a case of “ambition overload” that feeling you get when there is so much you want to do, but you do not even know where to start. I want to work, run, write, read many books, work through a computer programming book from start to finish, explore, garden, cook, draw, build, paint, workout, clean the house, sing, dance, and the list goes on and on…
This happens to me on a regular basis, but in the most recent instances I allowed it to overwhelm and paralyze me.
Today, I am thankful that I have the energy and the enthusiasm to do these things. I know that I cannot do everything all at once so I will choose the activities that are most important to me and will chip away at them one by one.
