2021 Dream-catcher Challenge

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

The time has come for me to continue my tradition of doing a year-long project!  Through the years I have done a series of projects including:

These projects have helped me to stay focused on my goals and dreams and share my adventures and stories along the way. I also love the way that blogging through this process holds me accountable.

I must admit that some years are more successful than others. I think my most successful year-long project was my 2019 Be-YOU-tifully You Project 2.0. That year I really challenged myself to focus on my monthly goals and I wrote my weekly blog posts religiously. It was a year full of great changes and transitions.

2020 has been another story, but a wonderful story. Even though this year was rough for the whole world, it was full of so much growth and many blessings. My partner and I spent the entire year in our new home in Hawaii and it was the first year that we fully supported ourselves with our business income. Staying put for over a year felt good because we had been moving a lot before we found out property in Hawaii. It ended up being perfect timing and we both agree that Hawaii hasn’t been a bad place to quarantine.

I fell off with blogging this year… Isn’t it strange that the year that we are required to stay home was the year that I spent less time blogging? I thought that I would have wanted more of a social outlet, but I guess I needed to spend some time looking internally. This gave me a chance to look in the mirror, self reflect, and figure out ways to improve my life.

I spent 2020 seeking happiness and I found exactly that! Even though it was a dark year for the world and a lot of bad things happened; this was probably the happiest year I have had in my life. We got to live in our dream home in paradise, I officially graduated, I revived and helped our businesses thrive and they ultimately supported us, and I am healthier than I have been in over a decade! Another win was the fact that my depression and anxiety wasn’t as bad as it usually is which was somewhat surprising, but I have no complaints about it.

MY THEME FOR 2021 IS: “Take action”

2020 was about happiness and now I am ready to push myself. I am so happy to be happier than I have ever been and now I want to work towards even bigger goals and dreams. I still haven’t figured out what my purpose is, yet, and I hope that I will find more clarity through this year.

Wish upon a star then work for it!

Please feel free to follow along and also document your adventures throughout the year.  Please add and subtract to customize this project to fit your life.  I would love to cheer you on too!
