Workout and Word of the Day #7

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I spent 2 days curled up with food poisoning and had to take those days off from working out. I was so worn out that all I could do was lay in bed and read a book. I am so thankful that I was able to recover so quickly.

Whenever I get sick, I feel so thankful that it rarely happens and that I have been healthy most of the time. I guess what I’m trying to say is that being under the weather helps me to appreciate my health.

Today was the 1st day that I had enough energy to do a little workout and surprisingly, I have not had coffee for 2 whole days.

Today’s workout is : Lower Abs + Arms!

Lower Abs Workout | Vicky Justiz

10 Minute Toned Arms | Pamela Reif

This is another fun Pamela Reif workout! I love the fact that she uses water bottles. I didn’t have water bottles that were easily accessible so I used my 5 pound weights and even had to set them down a few times. This one really burned!

15 Minute Weightless Arm Burnout | Blogilates

Okay this one REALLY burned. In fact I had to take breaks a couple of times. If you want a really intense arm workout that you can do anywhere without any equipment. This is the one for you!

Today’s Word of the Day is:

inaugurate– verb

  1. To make a formal beginning of: initiate, commence, begin.
  2. To induct into office with formal ceremonies: install.
  3. To introduce into public use by some formal ceremony.

Happy inauguration day friends! Did you watch the ceremony?

Thank you for joining me for another workout and word of the day! It felt good to exercise again after being so awfully sick. I was not up to doing any running or cardio, but I’m so glad that I did something.

❤ Alana
